BAMBI is one of the most gorgeous animated films ever made. I think that preference for paint or pencil depends on your profession…I always go for the pencil drawings, but can respect the color work too.
I love these reconstructed shots with the pencil layouts! This layout drawing is so beautiful that I could stare at it for ages; and yet when presented in the film, light and color is so expertly used that it only reinforces the eye direction to the main characters for perfect staging.
