deep in some drawers I found accidentally a few xeroxed layouts from universal’s/amblin’s 1995 released BALTO. for some of them I had the corresponding reproduced BG’s. there is enough for another later post, here are the first 6 scenes. I added the artist’s name as far as I remember them…

Balto was a terrible movie all the way around. A couple of the drawings are OK, but the piss yellow backgrounds are just plain ugly.

thank you for your honest comment. I like it when someone says loud what he or she thinks. it unfortunately doesn’t happen often enough. you are just a bit vague, criticism should be more than a ‘terrible’ feeling.
The yellow sky is a bit “heavy” but not ugly.The compositions are really spectacular
