yes, Dr. Zhivago is in my top ten – love that movie.

congrats on the site accomplishment – amazing. but as with most of my favorite blogs with high visitor numbers, it seems that most people are not responding, which is odd.

anyway, keep up the great work, hans.

from hans –
thank you, matt. I know that most of us are just consumers and don’t want to leave some ‘bla-bla’ notes.
but at least there is a ‘hard core’ group. anyway, I am not doing this for the big numbers. if it helps a few
and improves their work and life, then I am happy.

Congrats on the visitors! I thoroughly enjoy your work and the classic cartoon camera pan recreations, epecially from the “song of the south”. Las Vegas does have a few game studios…

A quick thanks for the excellent resource that this blog has become- I teach freshman level storyboarding in the US at the Savannah College of Art and Design and many of your posts have aided my students understanding of the importance of story artists and the storyboard artist in the development process.

from hans –
storyboarding is probably the most important part in making films. too bad, there is not enough education
about it. good that your school offers it

Thank’s for sharing some masterpieces I simply cannot find anywhere else!

Three Cheers,

Hans I’m glad to see you back on the web. I enjoyed your earlier blog. A relative of mine was a layout artist at Disney in the 40s and 50s, so I love seeing those classic Disney pans, some of which I know he had a hand in.

hello sir,

the links you gave us yesterday were awesome. i ended up sleeping late browsing a quarter of the list. hahaha!

looking at this post, i saw some screenshots from Raise the Red Lantern. That movie is one of the best. Zhang Yimou’s choice of color for his films are very inspiring for me and especially for my friend. She’s a big fan. hahaha!

it’s really great checking out great artists…i’m so inspired with the things i saw. i cant stop drawing. hahaha. Thank you so much for the lessons you gave yesterday…me and my friends were all stuck in the library researching and doodling. And because of this blog, i decided to make my own as well. XD

i hope to learn more in the following meetings :D

from hans –
good! I am happy when it helps. and when it inspires you.
there will be a l o t more to learn, don’t worry…
