in 1962 the german ROWOHLT verlag in hamburg published the german translation of HARPER LEE’S – TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD, WER DIE NACHTIGALL STOERT. the stunning illustrations in the 1963 edition of the DEUTSCHE BUCHGEMEINSCHAFT VERLAG were done by WILHELM M.BUSCH. here is a selection.
