I have come back severaql times daily since you posted this incredible background. There is a haunting and mysterious quality about it that feels as though German Expressionism were about to rip this town apart. Quite eerie; a beautifully composed lay out. You don’t feel that so much as sense it in the film. It reads so differently when you look at it in its whole.

there is another nightpan over the city that looks even more like
CALIGARY, the whole ending, the chase through the foggy english
streets has an incredible atmosphere. more of the whole thing later.
