That must have been difficult tracking down each of the poses. Seeing the page from the Field book immediately touches my heart, for some reason. It’s clear in the eyes how much went into completing each of these poses before they were painted. Must have been very tight clearn-ups.

Everything from that film is beautiful.

this anthology sequence is brilliantly analized in Luca Raffaelli’s book LE ANIME DESIGNATE (don’t know if it was translated in english)
Its in my opinion a cult scene( like the spaghetti sequence from Lady and Tramp);thanks !

Amazing acting and drawings by a truly inspired animator. Looking at these drawings really makes me miss traditional animation!
